MONTALI
AND VERMIGLIO ARE THINKING OVER THE FUTURE
Italian
coach Gian Paolo Montali is satisfied of his National team. After
the defeat imposed by France he got revenge. “It’s an honour
and a privilege for me training this team that wherever goes and
independently of the players on the field, it always arouses
emotions” – he said.
Montali
trusts in his players and looks over the future next engagements
with optimism first of all over the European Championship that
have always put Italian team in a position of protagonist.
Montali
adds: “we’re very happy for what we’ve done till now –
referring to the return match against France in World League –
but by now we can’t celebrate anything”.
Montali
thinks over the work he has to do this summer that will culminate
with Rome Indesit Senior European Championship 2005. He doesn’t
want to get excited but he’s very satisfied of the way his team
plays and of how it follows his instructions.
The
Italian setter Valerio Vermiglio asserts: “probably this Italy
is not excellent like the phenomenon generation that played in the
past but it’s trying to build a group that could obtain many
successes. We’ll try to improve our play to reduce errors, to
find our identity and to reach the final tournament of
Belgrado”.
